Marina Macchiagodena has been a litigation attorney since 1979, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in matters involving general negligence, personal injury, premises liability, subrogation, employment, insurance and construction. In 1996 she expanded her practice to include corporate and transactional matters, real property transactions, contract negotiation, school law and administrative proceedings involving disability discrimination.
In 2001, Ms. Macchiagodena initiated her mediation practice as a volunteer for the Los Angeles Superior Court�s ADR Program and was appointed to the Court�s Party Pay Panel shortly thereafter. She provides private mediation services throughout Los Angeles County.
Ms. Macchiagodena continues to practice law, but has dedicated much of her practice to mediation. She brings to the table extensive litigation experience and mediation training as well as expertise in the art of negotiation and a unique ability to listen, synthesize and clarify the issues of a dispute to move the parties towards resolution.
